Broken detailed balance and non-equilibrium dynamics in noisy social learning models

چکیده

We propose new Degroot-type social learning models with feedback in a continuous time, to investigate the effect of noisy information source on consensus formation network. Unlike standard Degroot framework, destroy formation. On other hand, opinion dynamics converge equilibrium distribution that encapsulates correlations among agents' opinions. Interestingly, such an is also non-equilibrium steady state (NESS) non-zero probabilistic current loop. Thus, leads NESS at long times encodes persistent correlated agents. Our model provides simple realization context learning. Other phenomena as synchronization opinions when agents are subject common noise studied.

Mesoscopic Coulomb drag, broken detailed balance, and fluctuation relations.

When a biased conductor is put in proximity with an unbiased conductor a drag current can be induced in the absence of detailed balance. This is known as the Coulomb drag effect. However, even in this situation far away from equilibrium where detailed balance is explicitly broken, theory predicts that fluctuation relations are satisfied. This surprising effect has, to date, not been confirmed e...

willingness to communicate in the iranian context: language learning orientation and social support

why some learners are willing to communicate in english, concurrently others are not, has been an intensive investigation in l2 education. willingness to communicate (wtc) proposed as initiating to communicate while given a choice has recently played a crucial role in l2 learning. it was hypothesized that wtc would be associated with language learning orientations (llos) as well as social suppo...

Non-equilibrium dynamics of Gaudin models

In classical mechanics the theory of non-linear dynamics provides a detailed framework for the distinction between near-integrable and chaotic systems. Quite in opposition, in quantum many-body theory no generic microscopic principle at the origin of complex dynamics is known. Here we show that the non-equilibrium dynamics of homogeneous Gaudin models can be fully described by underlying classi...

Noisy Directional Learning and the Logit Equilibrium*

We specify a dynamic model in which agents adjust their decisions toward higher payoffs, subject to normal error. This process generates a probability distribution of players’ decisions that evolves over time according to the Fokker–Planck equation. The dynamic process is stable for all potential games, a class of payoff structures that includes several widely studied games. In equilibrium, the...

Langevin dynamics neglecting detailed balance condition.

An improved method for driving a system into a desired distribution, for example, the Gibbs-Boltzmann distribution, is proposed, which makes use of an artificial relaxation process. The standard techniques for achieving the Gibbs-Boltzmann distribution involve numerical simulations under the detailed balance condition. In contrast, in the present study we formulate the Langevin dynamics, for wh...
